The organisers have extensive experience in preparing and conducting successful workshops and conference tracks. Some recent examples include – SALAD (Services and Applications over Linked APIs and Data) co-located with ESWC, to be conducted the 4th time in a row, and the track on Service Modelling and Engineering at the 16th International Conference on Electronic Commerce and Web Technologies 2015.

Dr. Maria Maleshkova is a senior researcher at the Karlsruhe Service Research Institute and the Institute of Applied Informatics and Formal Description Methods (AIFB) at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. Her research work covers Semantic Web Service topics, in particular focusing on the semantic description of Web APIs, RESTful services and their joined use with Linked Data. Prior to that she was a Research Associate and PhD student at the Knowledge Media Institute (KMi) at the Open University, where she worked on the SOA4ALL (EU FP7 IP) project in the domain of SOA and Web Services. Maria has published over 50 papers in major conferences and international journals around Semantic Web Services, Knowledge-Based Systems, Knowledge Engineering and Business Process Analysis. She has worked in several international research projects and has previously been involved as a organiser and lecturer in several conference tutorials and summer schools, including the Service and Software Architectures, Infrastructures and Engineering (SSAIE) Summer School in 2009 and 2010 and the Karlsruhe Summer Schools on Service Research 2010 and 2013.

Prof. Dr. Jorge Cardoso joined the Information System Group at the University of Coimbra in 2009. Previously he worked for several major international companies such as SAP Research (Germany) on the Internet of Services, the Boeing Company in Seattle (USA) on Enterprise Application Integration, and CCG/Zentrum fur Graphische Datenverarbeitung on Computer Supported Cooperative Work. Dr. Cardoso has a PhD from the University of Georgia (USA). He has authored more than 140 scientific publications and has been part of more than 135 program committees and organisation bodies. In 2010, he was the Program Co-chair for the 18th International Conference on Cooperative Information Systems (CoopIS). Since 2010, he organises the WIP track of the International Conference on Web Services (ICWS). He is coordinating editor of the International Journal of Semantic Web and Information Systems (IJSWIS; IF: 2.308). He is a founding member of the IFIP Working Group 12.7 on Social Semantics and Collaborative Intelligence. He is also Vice-chair of the EU COST Action Semantic keyword-based search on structured data sources (KEYSTONE), a network aggregating more than 70 researchers working on semantics.

Felix Leif Keppmann studied Information Systems at the University of Münster (WWU) in Germany, where he achieved his M.Sc. with distinction in 2011. Currently he is working as research associate at the Institute for Applied Informatics and Formal Description Methods (AIFB) as well as the Karlsruhe Service Research Institute (KSRI) at the KIT and is a Phd student of Prof. Rudi Studer. His research topics include Semantic Technologies, Linked Data, Web Services/APIs, and large scale data processing. He is author of several peer-reviewed publications in these areas and has worked in national and international projects, e.g., ARVIDA, RENDER, i-VISION, or PlanetData, where his work focused on the application of semantic technologies to Web APIs, especially in industry scenarios.
